Links of the Day: En fuego
September 4, 2007
I was busy last week, so you may have noticed I didn’t usually put up my “Links of the Day”, or the 5 different names I’ve been calling that post. I’ll post them early today since I have a few to catch up on (and a new blog to promote). I will more than likely have more posts as the day goes on — and that aren’t me being lazy and just pointing out what others have done.
The creators of Either Relevant or True have started a new Dan Patrick fan blog, Palaver, in a similar fashion and style to their Keith Olbermann fan blog (except Lou Patrick is involved now too). Check out Palaver today (and in the future) for all the latest Dan Patrick news and discussion. I can’t wait for Dan’s new show to start, and better be able to listen to it.
I’ve never seen a college coach chew out his players for excessive celebration. Mark Mangino, you are my newest favorite football coach. (Larry Brown Sports via EDSBS and FanHouse).
Should Jake Peavy make a start on three days rest? I say yes — any chance to get a win in September against a division rival is one you have to do. (Babes Love Baseball)
I’m an Angel fan, but for many years enjoyed listening to Vin Scully and Ross Porter call Dodger games. Well thankfully, Scully is still there, but the Dodgers got rid of Ross Porter a couple of years ago. Now he’s making his return to sports radio, with a positive sports news segment on KLAC. (Dodger Thoughts)
Bruins Nation has a video that’s a must-see for any UCLA fan. A baby is involved, and I’d say this one is better than the old ESPN commercial where the UCLA fan slams the door on the USC trick-or-treater.
Any time there’s real news about dodgeball, I have to link to it here. (The movie is where I got the name of this blog from after all.) The nation’s best dodgeball team is in — Alaska? (Shakedown Sports)
