Sports this weekend
October 26, 2007
Last night’s World Series game was tough. I’m not even a true Rockies fan (just a bandwagoner) and it was still painful.
As sports fans, we really need the Rockies to comeback. The Red Sox winning another World Series would turn them into a Yankee-type franchise. And we certainly don’t need one of those.
Here’s your weekend sports listings. As usual, only sports I follow are included (no auto racing, sorry). All times are Pacific and I list only games on national TV networks.

I don’t know if the Rockies actually have to win it, but they need not to be swept. Aside fromt he fact that I can’t stand to hearall the nonsense about the NL West being the weakest division of the weakest league, there nees to at least be some proof that a large payroll is not a guarantee of anything. At this very moment the Rockies are making a comeback in game 3 – despite the fact that one of my immediate family us a Sox fan, I hope the Rockies take this one at least.
