Why Pete Carroll is talking to Atlanta

So Pete Carroll is reportedly talking to the Atlanta Falcons about possibly being their next head coach.

People always seem to wonder why Carroll would even consider leaving USC, considering all the success he’s had there (including one national championship) and how it would be really easy for him to continue his success there.

But we’re human folks. We always wonder if the grass on the other side is greener. We wonder if we could be the best at the highest level.

That doesn’t mean he’s going to leave for Atlanta. But it’s natural to at least think about it. For all the success he’s had in college, it’s not winning the Super Bowl.
